Adicomp Foundation
Gianni Andreella, a creative and passionate mind, founded Adicomp together with his son Antonio, determined and enterprising. Together they created a company capable of tailoring every project with vision and flexibility.
2003
First natural gas compressor
A customer requested a compressor for dry gas: Adicomp accepted the challenge and entered the sector. Cristina Andreella joined the team, bringing new energy and contributing to growth in a rapidly expanding market.
2006
First biogas compressor
The company developed its first compressor for biogas treatment, ahead of its time. Direct contact with customers and a bespoke approach made Adicomp a pioneer in a still emerging industry.
2010
Adicomp is biogas compression leader in Europe
Adicomp strengthened its position in the biogas sector and chose to invest in green solutions. The commitment to sustainability became central, guiding the company towards leadership in renewable energy.
2013
Adicomp joins Termomeccanica group
Joining the Termomeccanica Group marked an acceleration: resources, know-how, and a shared vision allowed Adicomp to strengthen its role in biogas and expand its global impact.
2014
First biomethane grid injection screw compressor
The first screw compressor for biomethane grid injection was developed. This marked the beginning of a comprehensive offering for green gas treatment, focused on innovation and energy efficiency.
2015
First biomethane grid injection reciprocating compressor
Adicomp completed its range with the first reciprocating compressor for biomethane. Two technologies, one shared vision: to provide flexible solutions for an increasingly demanding and growing market.
2021
Adicomp opens US branch in Chicago
To strengthen its presence in the USA, Adicomp opened a commercial branch. A strategic step to offer direct support to American customers and grow in a crucial market for biogas and biomethane.
2023
More than 150 employees and 5 productive facilities
The company has grown to reach 150 employees. A milestone reflecting Adicomp’s solidity, built on its people, talent development, and continuous internal skill growth.
2024
Adicomp Opens Branches in Mumbai, India, and São Paulo, Brazil
Adicomp opened a production site in India and a commercial branch in Brazil. Two strategic moves to establish a presence in fast-growing markets, bringing Italian know-how and quality to emerging global contexts.
2025
Adicomp joins Ingersoll Rand group
