Two screw compressors designed for carbon dioxide (CO₂) compression were installed in an industrial plant. The units operate in a covered (indoor) environment, a condition that provides greater protection from the weather and improved operational stability. Both compressors are water-cooled, a solution that enables more efficient thermal control, which is ideal for applications requiring continuity of service and high performance. This configuration is particularly suitable for industrial processes where CO₂ must be handled safely, reliably and with high purity.
